I found this gun at a gun show a number of years ago. Best I can tell it was probably built around 1920, and it sure has been shot a lot since then. The cylinder doesn't quite lock into place in single action. Since the crane is aligned properly and there seems to be no appreciable endshake I figure it must be because of the extractor and hand are pretty worn down. I have a new hand on the way, but I'm having trouble with one last thing.
The rear sight blade is obviously something someone made out of some aluminum in a garage. Can anyone tell me where I might find a replacement blade? Parts for these guns have been hard to scrounge up, I'm hoping there might be another model gun that shared the sight blade with this?
All in all I am looking forward to getting this gun back into nice working condition. I didn't pay much for it so I have no complaints about it's condition, nor the fact that I will have to find some new grips for it. I am slightly annoyed that someone felt the need to crudely scratch their initials in it, but heck it's over 90 years old, what can I expect for $200?

Trick is Numrich doesn't have much in the way of I-Frame parts, and certainly not the rear sight. I wasn't able to find it on brownells or midway, could be I am missing something, but I don't think so. It seems that parts for the old I-Frames haven't been made for a very long time.
I figure I am going to have to try to figure out if another frame will work, like a J-Frame leaf sight maybe?
