I need help identifying a s@w

I have the chance to buy a s@w .357 but i cant find a model # on it. Serial num is k952xxx. where would i find the model #. Thanks

Look again an 18 is .22 LR K-22 Combat Masterpiece. I guess you have a deep struck 9. Re-checked serial in SCSW, its 1950 range. I recommend you post pics some with the grips off and the concealed markings revealed. Something a bit off beat is going on here. Return to factory perhaps?

Post the pics and let some of the major brains her see what you have.

You sure about it being .357? Model 18-3 should be a K-22 (.22LR). Initial 1970 serial range K946392 -K999999. I'm looking at the S&W Standard Catalog, 3rd ed.

(If I had refreshed my screen, I would have seen Waidmann's post and wouldn't have bothered to look it up.) :D

Combat Magnum. The -3 came out in '67. The serial range puts it around 1970.
