My Stepfather and I were going through his collection to catalog and record his firearms. He pulls out a Smith & Wesson shotgun. It is a 20ga auto-load Model 1000m. The serial number is FS72135. Can anyone help me with the date of manufacture, number of them meade and, any kind of value for the gun? The gun is in superb condition (as with just about everything he has).

Thanks for the info! I just haven't seen a lot of Smith and Wesson shotguns in my day. Some of the guns he has are amazing. Real Gems.
