    PG,

Here's my Bushie, it was a page from my (now defunct) Photography biz website:

I have run a coupla hundred UMC bulk-pak .223 through it, but I use the WWB Q3131 55 gr. (the Israeli made ammo) exclusively, now. I buy it by the case from Midway, or did. I still have a coupla K put back. It shoots cleanly and consistently and I have not had to adjust the irons or the EO-tech from ammo batch-to-batch.

I LIKE IT! I wish I could use an eotech sight, but they don't work well for color blind shooters.
My favorite ammo is Federal Tactical match. 62 gr. I mostly shoot WWB Q3131 as well. It's very consistant, and that surprised me for being an inexpensive ammo to begin with. I bought a couple thousand rounds of the Herter's steel cased ammo at Cabela's for $2.99 a box/20 a couple months ago. I can't wait to get in some warm weather so I can throw some lead downrange to see how it works out.
I really enjoy my AR. It's a pleasure to shoot and cheap compared to trying to feed my bigger 30-06 or my other military rifles.

    Regards,
    Gregory

    Gregory,

That is one FINE lookin' Garand. One is on my list. I had one lined-up a coupla years ago, but a "motivated" M1A seller crossed my path, and there went the $800.00 I had budgeted for a nice M-1!

    Thanks,
I'm looking for another shooter grade M-1 Garand and a Saginaw M-1 Carbine. I used to work in the same Saginaw Steering Gear plant that the M-1's were made. They had one hanging on the wall just inside the plant. I think it will be cool to own a rifle that was once made where I worked.
The M1A SOCOM is high on my next years list too. There's something magic about the M1 lineup.

BTT...... I'm going to get some Brown Bear ammo when I see it on sale next. I've got to give it a try after reading the reviews that were linked. Sounds like it's pretty good ammo overall. We'll never know till we try it, will we???
