I bought a pair of Pac grippers for my 386 XL hunter,almost got these grips when I first got the gun but trying them on in the store I noted the screw was blocked by the spring in the grip frame....

Well I went reading and it seems to be a regular complaint with this grip so I went back to the shop and got them as I prefer Pac grips over anything else on a revolver-talk about fun! it took much cramming and a whole lot of cussing but I got them on,never want to do that again,kids.

Anybody else try this contortionist act? are ALL round butt L frame Pac grips this much hell to get on? or do I have an old set that isn't made for the new guns? it works just fine.
