M&P 22 pistol feeding problem

I have a fairly new M&P 22 pistol that will not consistently and smoothly feed, especially when first loaded. It is a 12 round model. I am using CCI copper jacket 40 grain mini mag ammo. I think it is getting hung up on he feeding ramp even after a good cleaning. Any suggestions on how to fix would be appreciated .Thanks

My first suggestion would be to polish the feed ramp. Use a dremmel tool with the cotton pad and some jewelers rouge.

However, 22's are notoriously ammo finicky. Try a bunch of different loads and see if there is one that does work 100%. I would try with something like CCI standard and MiniMag to test as a baseline.

I appreciate the tip, sounds reasonable and I'll look at different ammo too best success with CCI copper jacketed min mags. Where can you get Jewelers rouge? Thanks
