i was thinking about wet sanding the flat surfaces with 2k grit sandpaper then 3k grit. then using mother mag polish then finishing it with mothers billet polish. Whats your input?
So on my 59, the main frame of the gun is mostly flat while the top slide is mostly polished stainless. i was thinking about polishing the flat surfaces to match the rest, has anyone done this before? If so how do i do it and can i see some pics?

kcq1, i have the same mothers polish. Did this polish the matte/flat stainless surfaces on your gun?
Do you guys polish the cylinder flutes too? I would think it would be a nice touch to leave them flat finished to offset all of the high polished surfaces
Let me know which way you polished your cylinders
