A thanks to 500 Magnum Nut

Thank you for taking the time to post all the information in the FAQ section.
My 1959 vintage Model 28 had developed enough end shake that I felt some work was in order. I ordered shims, .002, from Midway (and another Chip McCormack Shooting Star 1911 magazine), read your post on the subject again and took the 28 apart (yes, it is a 'righty-tighty, lefty-loosey), cleaned the Dickens out of it and dropped in a shim. Just like new again.
    Thank You 500

azmick, I dare say he (500 Magnum Nut) has helped countless numbers with his always reliable advice to those of us who aspire to be Gunsmiths or, at least, do some tinkering on our own revolvers. I want to add my thanks for the things he has helped me with both on purpose and not knowing he did! His help has been invaluable so many times and he needs to know that his shared knowledge is much appreciated by so many! Another "Thanks" to 500 Magnum Nut!
