RD,
I have auto updates enabled, should have the latest for "8".
"9" option looks like a "clean install" option, only - no upgrade install for XP.
Thanks, All.
Mike
Giz? Giz?
Are you there, Giz?

Here's what the tech has to say
I don't know, I've been clicking all around in smithandwessonforums in my virtual windows machine both in firefox and internet explorer and I haven't noticed any of this.. It is possible it's being caused by an ad in rotation, it might also be with multiple tabs open their computer is having a hard time processing the javascripts..
Unfortunately since it's not easily reproducible it would be hard to fix, we'd need more info (which browser/version, which OS/version, any plugins running, have they run a virus scan recently, etc)

I would reccomend using google chrome. It is fast you shouldn't have any issues. Give it a try!
