thats an eye opener for me nice guns thank you!
These are for Bob K who wants more revolvers posted! I'm answering your call!
The above pictured Colt SAA Frontier Six Shooters are .44-40 caliber and sport 4 3/4" barrels. I put custom springs in them and shot them in a Cowboy Action Shoot. The factory ivory handles looked great in my holsters.
I only shot them once and they rang steel all day long! Now they usually stay in their zippered protective cases in my safe. But today they came out for a photo....
I view the world the way I see it and I see it over my front sight.
They are great looking revolvers, Steve!

I sure do love those Colts.
So pretty! I've often been tempted to get one just so I can get a fancy cowboy rig and strut around with it. Real eye candy!

That's a fine pair! Love those Colt SAAs!
I favor a pair of Colts - like yours - that are slightly different, but have the same chambering, grips, and barrel lengths. Makes for an interesting combo.
If you're handloading, do you recommend any particularly accurate plinkin' loads? I'm getting back into loading for .44-40 but only have experience with heavy loads.
Yippee ki aye!! Very nice Steve!!
Let go of anything that stops you from having everything…DM
beautiful and glad to hear your shooting them.
Very nice Steve! Somehow it seems like Colts don't need to be shot, they should remain in the safe. You can always find a Ruger to shoot.....and you don't lose the value of the Colt.
Ruger....guns for the common man!!!! I have to agree with that!!! THAT....is what Ruger's are for! Bob
