    Just picked this up today

Was waiting on my SR1911 and my Rhino 50DS to come in and I got to pick them both up today. My wife loves this Rhino and has told me that I need to get her one. Some people may say that the Rhino is ugly. I, on the other hand, love the way it looks. I also love the way it shoots with almost no muzzle flip.

Interesting concept, keeping the centerline of the bore that low would really reduce the muzzle flip. Let us know how she performs at the range.

"My wife loves this Rhino and has told me that I need to get her one."

Now what she is really saying is "I love this revolver, you might want to think about getting one for yourself."

I also like the concept of the Ugly One .

However I believe they have had some reliability issues .

Indeed when I asked to shoot the rental at my range last yr they said it had been sent back for repairs ......

I hope you have better luck . Do post up some range thoughts .

Yes indeed its an interesting concept, I have been tempted. First I have to convince myself that I need another 357 magnum, as I have J, K,L and N-frame S&W's plus Rugers and Colts. Looking forward also for a range report.

Interesting indeed! I was getting curious about Chiappa, until I read an article, about how Chiappa is installing RFID chips in all of their firearms...Adios from me.
Congrats on the new shooters though!
The SR1911 sure is a looker, shooter too from what I've read and heard.

Congratualtions on the lastest addition to the family. I hope your Rhino serves you well, and performs without any incidents.

I look forward to a range report as well. So, did you pick up the SR1911 as well?
"We need to see photos" is the thought of the day.

This might be a good read then.

TTAG Exclusive: Chiappa President Ron Norton on RFID Controversy | The Truth About Guns
No, the RFID chips won’t be hidden inside the frames. The final implementation is still undecided, but the chips will be labeled and attached for easy removal at or before the point of sale. Norton believes the RFID chips will be embedded in a tamper-evident plastic tag (think: zip-tie) to be snipped off by the retailer or the end purchaser.
