    Cool

Geezer the more I look at those grips the more they look like the style of Badger grips I put on my Model 15.

Does the screw go all the way through and come out the other side or is the off side nut hidden in the grip?

Badgers hide the nut in the grip.

The bolt is exposed and the screw shank steps-down at the threads (the threaded portion is smaller diameter than the unthreaded shank). Whoever made them did a quality job (including the hardware). My only critique is the backstrap of the grip frame isn't precisely fit with the wood of the grip (there's ever so slight a ridge).......unfortunately, the wood is low or they could be "fitted". I'm making them sound worse than they are........they're okay, I'm just fussy.

I just won a set of Hogue's "Big Butt" that have been slightly modified.........and I'm gonna modify them even more (take down a little more of the big butt). We'll see how they work out. Here's a link eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

I plan to make that lower finger knob a bit more subtle......and the length of the grip should work well for my wide hand (not all scrunched-up).

Heck, at those prices I'll consider them "blanks" for me to custom fit to my personal comfort and taste.

    Regards,

    Geeze

I've got a pair of Big Butt's, one for the -617 and one for the -686. Brand new and after a couple of range visits, getting modified in the finger grips and just under the trigger guard on the right side of the gun. My problem is too large of fingers (yes, too large) so after smoothing down the points and deepening the grooves, we're ready for some "restoration" of the finish. I'm going with a walnut tone, the factory color is just too light for my taste. Then trying something new "Tru Oil". I've used tung oil in previous refinishings but this time I wanted to try something new. Speaking of new, excuse me while I rush off to Badger custom grips. By the way: It's 40 days to get Big Butts from Hogue. They're considered a special order item.

    Pepsi Cola Hits the Spot

Twelve Ounce Bottle thats a Lot

Twice as Much for Your Money Too

PEPSI COLA IS THE DRINK FOR YOU!

If you can remember that ditty, you're older than dirt. Bustin bottles in the old days (before cans) was fun but mes-seee! Besides a whole bottle was worth 2 cents on return.
Now Pepsi cans is bad, they contribute to global warming, thus deserve to be shot through and through and then through again, providin you haven't knock the cans beyond your field of view with your expensive, exquiste, and rare constrictor snakkke. Say I've got some empty plastic Pepsi bottles, I could fill em with water and cap em, grab my constrictor snake, has a barrel twice as long as your's, thats okay I'll git back twice as far as you, and send them bottles to perdition. . .Never a fan of Python factory grips Geeze, but those new ones dress her up - I am enjoying your thread - Regards, Hank

What the heck, I'll post a picture just ta prove I'm not joshin ya about havin a barrel twice as long. . .
