Dem tells Veteran to Sit down or leave at Town Hall meeting

"No people in the world ever did achieve their freedom by goody-goody talk and moral suasion: it being immutable law that all revolutions that will succeed must being in blood, whatever may answer afterward."

I'm with Leighton. I'd probably get arrested as well.
They need to remember who gave them their freedom. It sure as hell wasn't Obama, Pelosi or Reed

The vet asked a good question, if we are in such dire straits, why are you here. The Congressman gave a political answer, it's the other guys fault and they won't let me. He could have done all of that without insulting the vet. But he didn't, he choose to insinuate that the careful, measured question from the vet was 'caustic' in did so in a cowardly fashion. Then he got angry when he got called out on it.

I hope all of this congressman's future voters get a chance to see it. Maybe someday he will learn it is supposed to be him that serves the will of the people and not the other way around.

Well....the vet was allowed to give his "speech" and ask his question, without being interupted. When the congressman was answering it,(not very well, I might add). He was rudely interupted by the vet. Being a vet, he should know better.....but that doesn't excuse him. The problem arises in not letting the other side respond without interruption......like he was given. I think you're making a bigger deal of it....then it deserves. NOBODY likes to be interupted! The sorry *#$s in Congress need to answer to the people EVERY DAY they are in office.
Now all they answer to are the lobbyists who pay them under the table.

    BobK,

I generally agree with your comment regarding interuptions and try to apply same in my attempts at social intercourse. However, it's a waste of everyone's effort when you don't stop/interupt identifiable BS at your earliest opportunity. When dealing with pontificating pols, it's a nearly constant requirement.

Looks like typical political speak...someone asks a legitimate question and a politician pulls the usual double speak. What is bad for Moran and I would have asked it after Moran's comments about the GOP controlling the agenda was WHY didn't congress handle this last year? Was it because they wanted to push the issue off to make the GOP look bad? Most of us know it was.
I can not abide useless people.

The only way Obama can become a bigger idiot is by gaining weight.
