Good evening. I'm a new member to the forum. I hope to learn a bit about S&W's from all the gurus here. I'm a retired Army veteran. I work part time for a gun store here in the Birmingham area. I recently purchased my M&P 9 and I have a few Glocks. I had a Sigma 9 a few years ago and have had a couple of revolvers many years ago. I plan to have a couple more M&P's because I really like how they feel and shoot. I have no intentions of getting rid of my Glocks. I like them both and my Rugers too. You will find that I don't bash anyone for their choice of gun. I don't play that game and I'm certainly not out to start an argument on a gun forum about what I think is "best".
Anyway, glad to be here and hope I learn some new things.

Welcome aboard. You'll find the friendliest bunch of hooligans you'll ever come across are hanging out here. We don't flame or bash members for their choices. In fact we're usually going OOh and Aah like a bunch of kids in a candy store. And trust me, we all like variety in our candy!!
Glad to have you with us and I look forward to the coneversations.
Teach them the truth, and let them sort thru the cobwebs of liberalism that have infested their minds.
When the time comes that I don't want a new gun, call the undertaker!
When they come for your guns, give them the ammo first!

I have Colts, and Winchesters and Berettas, and ... and.... and... so on. One of the really great things about this forum is the tolerance and relaxed atmosphere. I haven't seen a "flame war" on this forum *ever*. Believe me there could have been; I prolly could'a started a bunch (everyone on here knows for a fact I don't have an opinion about anything...), but everyone takes it all in stride and let's it be.

A gun is like a parachute... If you need one and don't have one, you'll never need one again.
