Well, Howdy y'all, and welcome to the forum! My Shield is in .40, but what I hear now about "terminal ballistics", I prolly should'a gone for the 9 and had a couple more rounds to send downrange.

OR is a plenty pretty state, but their gun laws have sure gone south. Too many CA folks have moved up there and brought their insanity with them. Good luck! What I hear, anyways.....

My buddy picked up the Shield .45 PC and after shooting that I loved it, but I figured picking up a 9 would be a good "first" gun to keep at home and to carry when I can. PLUS I can always tell the wife I'm giving it to her and pick up a Shield .45 PC :P Just gotta play my cards right. Just picked up some Hornady Critical Defense 115 for my home/carry.
