    Gun Sales

The best gun salesman is out of office and the second best could not get elected. I think the gun sales are plunging and some of the smaller shops might not make it let alone some gun makers (colt's?). Inventory is high around here how about your area. It's not a sellers market now so deals can be found.

    All.
Stores here always have plenty of new guns. I buy used guns. Market has not changed much to me. Not near enough used guns for sale in Yuma County. I have to make raids across the state to Tucson to find a good used gun market.

Gun show last weekend had 3 different dealers with tables full of 3 different brand new model 2" S&W .38's for $379.00. Couldn't give them away. Table next door had several very nice older assorted S&W's still in the box. A "new" 1972 Model 10 M&P in the box was marked $650.00. People are still going after the older guns at higher prices.

At my local shop, the new stuff is slow selling, and the used trade ins are still selling at high prices but sales are nothing like they were a year ago.

JMO, but I agree that gun sales are soft now. It makes sense to me after 8 years of high demand during the Obama era.

I've seen the demand slow on ODT (it's a local gun forum). It has on newer stuff as well as older stuff.

I've seen the lower prices at Adventures Outdoor (a local gun dealer). They are advertising a S&W Model 438 .38 special + P 2" for $360 NIB w/ a lifetime warranty. The 10+1 round S&W45 .45acp 4.5" NIB is $599 ($780 is the MSRP). This S&W45 is an awesome pistol. They are offering a Remington 870 "200 Anniversary" 12 gauge shotgun for $399.

I think that it is a great buying opportunity! The current market will only be this way temporally. The liberals are still lerking around.

    I like the S&W45 4.5" with 3 grips, a Steel Novak® Lo-Mount Carry sight, two magazines, a rail, and a lifetime guarantee.

S&W pinned revolvers, a few Colt 1911's, and a few old cars

I don't hate to say this, but I feel just as sorry for them now as they did for me when it was a sellers' market.

To be expected. When the World's greatest gun salesman left office, You wouldn't expect firearm sales to continue to increase would you? I didn't. I'd like to see retail sales return to pre-Obama levels and reloading supplies to be more plentiful. On a side note I did get 2 full cases of Federal Large Rifle primers which should last me a few months.
