Odd.
Because without America, there is no free world.
Don't know, wasn't there but I suspect that there was something else in/on that oily rag that caused a reaction.
Years ago when I was working as a mechanic at a Dealership, the adhesive that GM used to hold the rear-view mirror mount on the windshield would react with our cloth shop towels and start burning the shop towel. They were the Good Old Red/Orange towels supplied by the coverall/uniform vendor. Would not happen with the white/bleached towels the Body-shop used, so it had to be something in the die they used.
