    Hi Gregory:

    I agree with you, that would have been quite the find, but the answer is no........still, I consider myself fortunate in finding that hand made old style shoulder rig.

    Regarding the "Hog Leg": I've had that Blackhawk since I was a young buck and wouldn't even attempt to guess how many primers its popped. It's a three screw model and remains true to it's original 5 shot heritage (hammer rests on an empty chamber and it has all dem dare clicks).

    Well I can't say that they are truly vintage , cause I don't know the age ........but they are classic in nature .



    The first is an El Paso Saddlery version of the Tom Threeperson w a hammer thong .
    I like the color . Note that the body is a tan w an orange tint .The edges are a lighter tan .

    The second might be vintage , I don't know the maker . On the lower front face of the flap are the numbers 951 and then 38 below that .
    It's a pretty dark brown floral design with a closed cap bottom .

    That's the newly acquired 629 in the photos .
