Thanks for the heads up ... we just might do that. Spent my money on guns yesterday, but I can always look around.

I was all set to order a 1911 via "Gallery of Guns" when I got back to town, but now I just might head over to the Wickenburg Show to see if something fits my John Browning .45ACP Johnson, assuming ANYONE/SOMEONE in that place deals in something other than 22LR handguns..... The way history needs to be written it seems is the much-feared Apache kept the invading white interlopers at bay with Arrows and Model 34's!

BC2, There's no need to worry about being drowned by Model 34's... I'm doing my best to get as many as possible corralled! If RdrBill can ride herd on the K22's I can claim the J frames can't I"? You don't need to worry about arrows either... we allow white boys to visit our shows as long as they bring lots of wampum.
Look forward to seeing you again Pardner. BC3 & the womenfolk coming?

Bro, not sure the youngster or his wife will make it, they'll likely be looking for a place to sleep after pulling all night shifts, but if Mama finishes all her chores (yard, swimming pool, drain the sediment from the water heater tank, etc) she might be able to come along, we'll see.... If she happens to read this, I'll likely not make it out of the hospital in time and will be a no show myself!

Just talked with the wife ... unlikely we will be able to go. Have a long 'honey-do' list for both of us this weekend, and the kids want to go shooting and to the Renaissance fair on Sunday.

I have a friend flying in from western, PA tonight and he'll be around for a few days (until mid week). I'll have to play it by ear until we see what he'd like to do. Wish I say that it's a nice ride from here in the east valley out to Wickenburg, but unfortunately we'll have to drive clear across the city to get there (and I don't like the way those city folks drive). I think he wants to see Cochise County (it's the opposite direction), but it might be best to go there early next week.

FYI, Barb is working this weekend (so don't look for her to be with us), if we're there, it'll be just me and my friend.

Injunbro, what'll you be wearing (to spot you)? I'll be wearing that same old black cowboy hat as last year (look for the black hat and gray pony tail).......chuckle.......still haven't taken the hat off or got a hair cut.........LOL.......and maybe never will.

    Regards,

    Geezer

A 'nice' ride out there from Mesa and points east/south is to head up Gilbert Road off the 202 to Fountain Hills, take the left at the Chevron station/Fort McDowell Casino, cut across the rez, then head up to Rio Verde and Cave Creek. Takes a little longer, but you miss all the crazy city traffic. I usually go that way when I'm on the bike.

Probably want to do that in the next year or so ... lots of new high-end houses up on Dynamite Road. Guess they all want a great view of the morning sun coming up over the mountains!

That's a very good suggestion John.

    Thanks,
