    Yea -- What jeepnut said. All mine can change directions .. i can set them for full arc partial arc, or reverse arc ..

    Check out the coriolis effect. It hasn't got anything to do with the cogs in your sprinkler head but you might find it interesting.

    Let's see now, a high pressure weather system rotates in a clockwise direction and a low pressure system goes counter clockwise. Maybe the pressure in your water lines changed.

    As long as it waters the grass I wouldn't worry.
    Now... if it starts to suck the moisture out of the grass, then you got big problems.

    Thanks Jeepnut, I'm running mine with the stop disabled so I get a continuous 360 degree pattern. I guess it can simply decide on its own as to what direction it travels, which is fine with me, but just seemed weird, again thank you. As to the rest of the comments on this thread, it's now obvious I was more distraught than I should have been when Don Rickles died; there's no need to worry that we are ever going to come up short on comedians!
