    Thumbs down Long Day

Well, I'm finally back at home after spending the day at the hospital with my wife. Yesterday, her mother (89) fell in assisted living and broke (shattered) her right leg below the kneecap. They put a rod down the bone because the bone is too thin to clamp. When she was asked to stand today for rehab, she basically refused. And, she won't eat. This all transpired on top of a scheduled heart cath today for my wife to investigate some anomalies from a recent stress test. Up at 2:30 am and to the hospital at 5 am. Really running slow, we got back at 4 pm. Fortunately, no significant issues were found. Just a long, drawn out tedious day.

My thoughts are with you. I lost my mom late last year after a fall in her assisted living room...

Hang tough boss, my prayers are with you. Not to use your situation as a personal 'pep talk', Ann has been sick since Easter (now running a fever) and I went to sit with our nearly 12 year grandgal this morning as her mom was flying to Knoxville TN for her job and I had to be there at 0515 so dad could go to work. What did I find? A barren living room! They have new furniture coming on Friday, but in order to take advantage of the City Bulk Trash collection, it's all gone. My grandgal leaves to school at 0845, so for 3 hours I had the choice of a hard-backed dining room chair or the carpeted floor with some throw pillows! Guy, if I could bring you some medical relief back your way, I'd lay on that floor everyday for a week partner! Stay strong and try your best to rest as you can, sounds like you'll need it.
