    Old Remington

I traded for this old model 14 sun. It's in 30 cal Rem. It's a little rough on the receiver, been d&t. Kinda beat up
the bore is good. I got 40 rounds with it so I cleaned it up and went to test fire it. I fired 4 rounds at 25 yds to
check it out. I didn't have my screwdriver or brass drift to set the sights with so I stoped after 4 rounds. Think I'll
try some white model paint and outline the sight. This one is strictly a reloading caliber so I've got to round up
    some dies brass. CliffName: image.jpeg

    Congratulations, those are slick rifles!
    I inherited my Grandpa's model 14. It's in .25 Remington Auto though.
He left me 2 old boxes of Winchester. I've still got a box and a half.

Rodney, that bottom hole is two rounds. I think it'll shoot very well if I can get some 150 grs loaded for it. Cliff

Neat old Remington. I keep looking at them from time to time, but haven't brought one home - yet.

That is a fine looking old Remington!
Having a gun in your hand is much more effective than having the entire police department on the phone.
