This one belonged to my Grandpa. He gave it to me, when I was about 12 years old. My first real hunting knife. The knife is at least 70 years old. Maybe older a little older. The model is the woodcraft. I just cleaned & sharpened it up. It will be good for another generation.
These were made prior to 1940 this one is probably from the 1930's maybe older but not by much.

Marbles knives were a favorite of my grandfathers also. They are still in business and, unlike a lot of things, their quality is as good or better than ever.
You guys have some beautiful knives. I'd like to resurrect this Marble's thread as I'm a great admirer of these knives, especially the pre 1970 production. Here is my pre model 44 H.E. 3rd Model with a vintage Marble's 6" Ideal knife.
All very nice hunt'n knifes these old marbles will do the job they were intended for hunt'n
