My son inherited this from his adopted grandparents (Old Pop is gone now almost 10 years, his wife is living in another state) when he bought their home. He’s now out of the house and everything had to go, including this fine clock. Well as it turns out, he and his young wife are having a slight disagreement as to how it fits in their home, she’s having difficulty fitting it into the motif….okay, a young marriage, no matter, it has a home for now and Mrs. BC2 is happy! I actually have the receipt of when this was purchased in the mid-80’s, it was not inexpensive then, considering the condition it’s in, I’d say it is a definite keeper. With chimes and gongs, you initially think it’s too loud (I had a cheaper version in my first marriage), but after awhile you don’t even notice it, unless you’re wanting to know when the next 15 minutes is due.
Beautiful clock BC2. IMHO clocks are the only thing machined and fitted as carefully as good guns & are treasured around here. Check out The New England Clock Shop on Bell Rd. (Phoenix, AZ for you unfortunate outlanders) to see what one of those is worth today.
Hey Bro, I think that's where it was purchased, but I'd have to run down the receipt to confirm. I'm busy at the moment with my pedicure & ear/nose-hair spa inspection, which comes with a complimentary cucumber facial, perhaps later....

Looks like a Ridgeway. Good quality clock. Unfortunately, the factory in Virginia is no longer in operation.
