First time ever wearing camo - Camo Sunday

I mentioned last week that Pastor Fred is on vacation and PAstor Cheyenne was preaching on Duck Dynasty.

Well this week was declared Camo Sunday and I just had to join in. I'd venture to guess that of the 150 that were there today, at lest 95% of us were wearing something in camo. Wheather it be a camo tie, scarf, headband or camo outfit nearly everybody was wearing camo. It was much fun, especially seeing the elders of the church dressed in camo, even the ladies all joined in. And the sermon was awesome!

For the record this is the very first time I've ever worn camo. Somebody here was actually smart enough to tell me to get a photo of it, so I've obliged.
I own two sets of camo, just in case I get an opportunity to go hunting. Corlinda borrowed on of my tees for today.
We had 3 photos taken of us, and none of them came out too good. This is the best of the 3. Corlinda has her eyes closed because she was laughing about the pictures being taken. We all know how that goes.

So here it is for all it's worth. gearchecker in camo.

And this is what Corlinda looks like when she' not laughing. We were at Mt. St. Helens at Johnston's point when this was taken.

Fashionistas! GC, did you notice that you are fast approaching 10,000 posts? Quite an accomplishment, and we didn't even see you coming.

And a good looking couple you are too. That is too "kool" Gregory - here I am, hidden back in the Blue Ridge in what would be called an extremely rural area, occasionally I see good blue jeans sneak into church but NEVER camos - knowing just about every household has em. "Camo Sunday," bound to put a smile on all of the faces; I like it!

You be stylin', Gregory! What a great idea for a Sunday service. Hard to believe the first time you've worn camo was to church.

Great shots of you two! I guess I'll have to get some camo now. Never owned any.
