Great country. I have a friend who lives at Kirkland Lake. She is a retired RCMP.

Funny, but that looks just like the place in my head I go to during August in Texas.

Here are a few before and after pics of the cabin--it was built in the early 50's and fell into disrepair until we acquired it in 2001.

Nice! Looks very much like a place I stayed at on a lake to the southeast side of Algonquin Park. There is a special place in my heart for Canada. Thanks for posting those beautiful pics!
