    secret grouse spot

this is my secret grouse hunting spot, and one of my favorite places on earth! every year, after i get one bird there, i keep going back just for the hike. i eventually start taking the camera instead of the old double-barrel!

That is amazing. What a beautiful spot to sit back and take it in.

Here's my wife's favorite hiding spot.
If you ever see the Nature Valley Granola Bar commercial on TV where the young lady is overlooking the valley below, they mention Lost Horse Trail in Montana,, This is it.

We all need a place to call our own.

Wow Ed and Gregory.......those are beautiful shots of breath taking views.

These shots kinda show a scan (a bit of panaroma) out of the garage door up in "The Jemez" about 150 miles from Santa Fe. The area is known as "The Red Rocks", for obvious reason.

And this shot is from down the road about a mile looking the opposite direction.

It's sort of 180 degrees different than your parts of the country (Ed & Gregory)......with a different beauty and appeal. BTW, that part of New Mexico is defoiliated this time of year. In the spring, it'll green up some (but nothing like dense woods).

    Regards,

    Geeze

All are very scenic. . .Geeze, looking at the red rocks, I kinda expect to see John Wayne riding outta the bluffs. The picture of the road - I expect to hear
MEEP, MEEP! and see the Road-Runner. . .You have a GREAT spot my friend.

    Regards, Hank
