My daughter's Xmas present to me

Emma is a college student now and after working P/T much of her senior yr of high school and this past summer is finding it somewhat difficult to adjust to relying on " the kindness of strangers " - or i.e. an allowance from ol Dad .

But she did come up w a nice gift for me - a custom poster of her design w S&W items .

The pics are pretty bad . There's 1 complete pic and then 1 of the upper 1/2 of the poster and 1 of the lower half .

It's got the iconic words of Dirty Harry to the punk on it . She knows that Clint is my FAV .

A nice little addition for the Man Cave !

    Regards ,
    George

    George,

My daughter is 25, and, like you, nothing makes me feel better than an expression of love for "ol' Dad" from my girl!

The young lady across the street left some great crunchy Peanut Butter and chocolate cookies (don't know what you call 'em.....but they are excellent!) on my door step Christmas morning. I've talked to her many times, when we're both outdoors. We have become friends. Her young husband has Luekemia.....and he looks older then me! A couple of years ago, he was bigger than me. He used to lift weights (like me) and he was big!

I've given her some veggies in the fall, a new (old) Columbia winter jacket (that my wife never wore.....), and just conversation and alittle advice. She's got a tough road ahead! It don't look good. I feel obligated to help her, when I can. Bob

George, you'll always treasure that, 'cause your "little girl" made it for you.

We still have some hand-made ornaments for Christmas that ours made in grade school....priceless!

Tell her for me she "did good!"

That is a great present she gave you!
    U. S. debt explained...Let's say, you come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood......and your home has sewage all the way up to your ceiling.
What do you think you should do?
Raise the ceiling or pump out the crap?

That gift is as good, if not better than one of the handprint pottery casts we got from our children when they were in kindergarten.
Or the flower pot/ashtray/coffee cup thing they made for us when they were in the 3rd grade, once they got better eye to hand coordination.

George, you've been blessed beyond measure.

    Regards,
    Gregory
