    Here are a few more

A Baker engine. Looks like a 20/60, but not sure

    A 25/75 Case

A 22/70 Wood Brothers. My dad`s 5/8th scale model is based on this engine. He used to own it. Sold it back in 96 when he moved to town.

A little Russell engine. Maybe a 15/45. Can`t tell from the pic.

There is nothing else like historical machines being able to continue to tell their story so long after having been built!

The first steam tractors I saw as a kid were in my mother’s family photo album. Her oldest brother was working in Iowa, and had taken some pictures of several of the steam tractors working in a field; this was prior to the first world war as my uncle was killed during that war. As a kid I was puzzled because the tractors looked like small locomotives to me but there weren’t any railroad tracks in the field. Much later on I found out what a steam tractor was and attended a showing of them when I lived in Pennsylvania. I can tell you the owners of such were extremely proud of their restorations; as well they should be. A most impressive show of the steam tractors; great tools from a different era.
