I would have to rescue my Pre-Model 28 4" If they don't survive the fire in the safe, well then they can be easier to replace.
You get everyone, and pets out, but can ONLY grab one handgun before you run out the door. RIGHT now I think it would be my 3" 686 CS-1. I have some more rare, and some more valuable, but that's my choice tonight. How about you?

Well if I can only grab one I would take my 66-2.

No discussion .. my dad's service revolver ... no dash Model 15 S&W!
Everything else I can replace....
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he'll just kill you.
My 10-1. Used as security guard, going to school. Old LEO gun. Likely the least valuable. Not to me. Pictures when back from blue job.

Only one handgun? I have a 6" 28-2 that I bought from my brother. He had two. He gave me my choice. Later I ordered a Tom Threepersons holster from El Paso Saddlery with a nice basketweave pattern and strap. It is not my most valuable handgun, but I could not replace it. He died a little over two years later of cancer in 4/20/2005. We were identical-twins. I miss him.
The one on the night stand. It changes every so often

I reckon I'll be the guy that looks like Fire Marshal Bill, in the front yard wiping the soot off all my guns.
I'd grab the nickle Model 27 that my 90 year old Dad recently returned to me after I gave/loaned it to him 30 some years ago.
