    Unhappy

    Dammit!

I said the model ten. I changed my mind. While I put my first choice back, and took #2, I changed my mind... Again.

Meanwhile, Rome burned while I fiddled around, trying to figure it. Along with my ashes, there are some heat treated guns, needing new grips. Make some offers. The issue of what to do with the carcass is NO longer a problem.

The two guns that I inherited that are laying right next to each other in my drawer: my father's 2 3/4 inch Security Six that he carried for years and years, and my foster father's M1911A1 that he carried during WWII

I'm with you.....a wee dram always makes a guns / dogs discussion better! As for the kids, I'm an empty-nester and they are all over 21 years old....they can start looking out for me!!

It was my Grandfather's when he was a policeman in Romania before coming here, then Dad's when he went to WW II, now mine.....the sentimental value would be too great a loss.

For a family gun that 'has been there' that is in outstanding condition.
