I never cease to be amazed by the new creative development of firearms. This is a concept that I like. It does not appear to be a mere gimmick. It serves a real purpose. There are locals where buying a handgun/rifle is difficult. Being able to use a single serial numbered receiver to host a number of calibers, configurations would be a real good way to have a rifle that would be easily adaptable to the needs/interest of the purchaser. Excellent idea. This would be very useful to the armed forces if for no other reason than it would allow rifles to be configured according to the needs of the soldiers and their assignments. I hope this project has legs!

Reminds me of some of Stoner's early work in making a component weapon system. His weapon could be configured as a rifle or light machine gun depending on components.
