If you started over today, what Model would you buy first? [with pictures]

Please mention your favorite starting model (pre-models included):

    1) K-22, K-32, or Kit guns:

    2) K-38, K-38 special, or K-frame .357's:

    3) N-frame .38 special (a .38/44 Heavy Duty):

    4) N-frame .357 Magnum (Registered Magnums and all other .357 N-frames):

    5) Antiques or your call---just mention it.

Sorry, I meant to put those in the N-frame .38/44 option.

First two would definitely be a model 17, and a model 10 and go from there, probably with a model 15 and model 19 next and then a model 13 when found.

Then you would have missed out on all that fun and experience. My first was Granddad's 1917 hand ejector 4 made in 1917. First one I bought was a Model 10. I do like the N frame 357s after trying a lot out. Probably the 28 if I had found one.

I got a Ruger Single Six convertible that kept me entertained until I went into LE. A 58 and a 36 sufficed for the next 30 years. Then I found the forums and I was led down that path to addiction.

If I was younger it would be a lot easier, but hell I'm 74 years old.
That being said I would have to go with a Model 57 no dash 4" without
question. I have to say it's my favorite S&W revolver...ammo is kinda
pricey but I reload so problem solved. Here's a few pics.
