44 magnum v.s. 44 remington magnum

i have a stupid question. i just bought a model 29 classic. and i want to buy ammo for it. but, i came across a name difference. S & W site says 44 magnum and 44 S&W Special can be fired with the model 29. but, when i attempted to order the ammo, the ammo web site said 44 Remington magnum. is this the same as 44 magnum? also, is 44 special and 44 s & w special the same ammo? i mostly fire 9mm and 45 cal. so this 44 mag ammo is new to me. thanks for any assistance.

Yes and Yes.

The real name is the 44 Remington Magnum which often gets shortened to 44 magnum. Same with the 44 S&W Special.
