Thumbs up Sellier & Bellot 124 Gr. 9mm ammo. Thumbs up from here.

We regularly shoot Sellier & Bellot ammo in nearly all of my handguns. Of all the pistols and revolvers I shoot, I prefer to use Sellier & Bellot 124 Gr. FMJ ammo in my 9mm pistols. I can count on the consistancy in every round. It remains accurate, and the recoil is very manageable.
It is priced slightl;y below most of the competing brands of ammo in the same class.
If you catch it on sale, (which I'm constantly looking for) it can be found on occasion for as little as $9.99 per A box of 50 rounds. It's regularly found around $14.99 per box.
We've been shooting it for the past 3 years, and have never had a malfunction with any of this ammo.
S&B states that the ammo is loaded to NATO pressure specs and I have no reason to doubt their claims.
Some have reported that it's hot, and has a bit more kick than similarly loaded WWB ammo, but I haven't found that to be the case.
I believe that their 115 gr, ammo is hotter than most standard loaded ammo.
I've never run it thru a chrony, but I'm sure it's up to the manufacturers specs.
We have 6 different 9mm pistols that we regularly take to the range, so we have a good sampling of how different pistols handle this ammo.

Points we especially like about this ammo:
The bullets and primers are sealed with a coating to prevent moisture and corrosion.
The FMJ ammo is consistant and I've found it to burn pretty cleanly.
The POI is identical to the Speer Gold Dot 124 gr. ammo we have in our pistols for self defense at home.
The casing are excellent quality, and are very well suited for reloading many times into the future.
So far 100% satisfaction in all the pistols and revolvers we've used with this ammo.

    Regards,
    Gearchecker

Same here GearChecker but in another calibre. My Marlin .357 rifle shoots the best groups with the S&B 158 JSPs. They hold tight and are consistent @ 100yds. Can't say the same thing for Magtech. Magtechs ARE hotter and I can feel it in the recoil and those standing beside me CAN hear it in the report but they group all over the place. My Marlin just does not like them. I also use S&Bs in my Model 15 snub. Spot on @ 10 yds.POA and no FTF. I highly recommend them. Fair price. Very good performance. Gus

And, as has been mentioned, they're great in the reload category. I don't mention that too loudly around my club so they'll leave it lay on the ground, when I come back and help keep the club area clean.

In 9 mm, can be had fairly often at Cabelas less than ten bucks fairly often. Good ammo. I like the sealed primers for longer storage. They shoot well for me. As far as .38/.357, just about the only affordable factory loads. Some of the prices on plain Jane factory loads are insane in other brands.

I ordered two thousand rounds of S&B .223 on sale about 15 years ago from "Cheaper Than Dirt", and still have over a case on hand. It functions well in everything that caliber and is extremely accurate in my heavy barrel Ruger M-77 Target Rifle. The cases reload beautifully. Still wish I could get it at the old prices! I have also used some of their 9mm and never had a problem. Good stuff.

I use S&B whenever I can get my hands on it. Its good stuff and has always performed well for me.

S&B is one of the few manufacturers that still produces .38 Special, 148-grain Hollow-Base Wadcutters at a reasonable price. I bought 5 boxes of it last year from Natchez ($15 a box of 50 on sale), and other than the powder being a tad dirty, it shot perfectly. The Big Three (Remington, Winchester, and Federal) all want over $35 a box of 50 for them.....Guess that's why I reload.

I don't reload so unless I'm lookin for a specific hunting round I buy S&B for the price but have found it very consistant across the board and all my wheel guns and auto pistols perform extremely well with it.
